By Angels Among Us Pet Rescue

AJA is still fighting for his life in a 24-hour emergency hospital where we (Angels Among Us Pet Rescue) rescued him from a heartstick, kill-shelter. He was lethargic, drooling and vomiting. Sure enough, he tested positive for Parvo, a potentially deadly virus that runs rampant in this particular shelter. We have received very little for his hospitalization and care so far – only about $300. Parvo pups are one of our most costly medical expenses. Parvo puppies cost approximately $1,500 each to treat so you can see we have a long way to go. 🙁

Please, please, please donate to his care. Every dollar adds up and truly makes a difference! We need your support in order to continuing saving these sweet, but sick, pups.

By Angels Among Us Pet Rescue

Hi, I’m Ming, the smiling, happy-go-lucky Pekingese. I am proud to be one of Angels Among Us Pet Rescue’s SENIOR ADVANTAGE dogs. Anyone can adopt one of us senior dogs for only $150 BUT if you are over the age of 65 then the adoption fee for you is only $100!! Now that’s a great deal for royalty like me!!

Just as an extra bonus…If you happen to be local “Healthy Paws for a Cause” in Cumming, GA is offering free annual exams and routine vaccines to senior dogs for seniors 60+ for the life of the dog!! WOW!!!!

I am 10-years old, totally house-broken, and 12 lbs of sugar and sweetness!! I’m very relaxed and easy-going. I am happiest just being with my person and I smile all the time to let you know how much you mean to me.

My vision is pretty good but I do need eye drops a couple of times a day. I am hearing impaired and wobble a bit when I walk but I can still keep up with my foster fur-brothers and sisters.

Along with Ming, we have many senior dogs in all shapes and sizes to choose from and an adoption team member is ready to help you find the perfect furbaby for your lifestyle. Please give a lovely senior dog a chance to live out his/her golden years in a loving, forever home.

Email one of our adoption matchmakers at adopt@angelsrescue.org to inquire and they will be happy to get the search started for your next best friend. Applications for Ming can be submitted online at

By Urgent Part 2 – Urgent Death Row Dogs

A1008251 (BACC) So afer 3 years, Ecko’s owner decided they have no more time for him. Poor Ecko has no idea why they brought him to sit in a cage 24×7 at Brooklyn AcC. He has no idea of why they never came back for him. He has no idea what he could have done that was so bad. Truth be told, nobody else can figure it out either. We’re told he lived with adults, that he was friendly with kids, that he lived with cats. But it sounds like Ecko spent most of his time around the house or yard and so, moving into a shelter environment is particularly stressful for a dog who has had little experience with strangers and other dogs and the noise and confusion of a shelter. Predictably, Ecko had some problems understanding how he was supposed to behave. He got really scared when they came to take him out of his cage and didn’t like being handled. But loolk careful—he did absolutely fine on all the resource guarding items and on the all important dog on dog item. So after all of 4 days, ACC has decided nobody would ever want a scared, confused dog and they’ve also decided he can only go to a New Hope rescue. Tonight, Ecko needs a dog savvy person who understands what he’s trying to tell everybody—he’s scared, he’s confused, he has to protect himself. If you think you’re the one to help Ecko recover from this ordeal, start working with rescues to foster or adopt Ecko. But do it right now. At noon tomorrow, ACC won’t put another thought into making young Ecko gone forever.

By Urgent Part 2 – Urgent Death Row Dogs

Lila is such a sweet girl; she genuinely deserves to be saved and to live a glorious life at the heart of her family. You know how certain dogs just touch your heart? Lila is just such a dog so we’re shocked that no one has scooped her up yet. Now her time has run out as the shelter plans to kill Lila tomorrow. Lila is a tiny sprite of only 36-pounds. She appears to have had a tough time during her 4-years as her head reveals healing scars. Lila was the model for a little photo shoot so please check out all of her stunning pics. Better yet, come to the Brooklyn kennel to save Lila for your very own. If you can’t take her yourself, please get busy finding a good home for a lovely girl. Lila only has until tomorrow at noon.

By Urgent Part 2 – Urgent Death Row Dogs

Poor Yogi, he’s been unwanted for so long. His first owner went on vacation and never came back. Now the family he’s been a part of for the last 2 years decided they didn’t want him either. All the while singing his praises and providing volumes of information on everything that is Yogi. Likes, dislikes, every possible nuance. They obviously loved him at some point. All that will be irrelevant after tomorrow, because once he entered the shelter system his life became worth less than nothing. Don’t let him end up as yet another ACC statistic.
