There is nothing better than a three year Labrador Retriever mix, the perfect age when these Peter Pan like characters start to get their puppyish personalities on track. Jacob arrived at NYCACC as a friendly stray, allowed all handling and easily was given a great bill of health during his intial medical exam. Clear eyes, a clean coat, everything was pointing in a positive direction at the start of his stay. Something went wrong a few days later and poor Jacob found himself with an isolated and lonely Department of Health Hold for ten days. Then more bad news after that ordeal he has been listed to be destroyed tomorrow after noon. It is time to act quickly, a friendly yellow lab mix with joy in heart should never be in this position. Fostering or adopting can save his life. The word must be spread by sharing this beautiful young boy before his time runs out and he has to go to never never land.
