How many shelters have same issue, managers unwilling to try to work with rescues and public ?

San Bernardino City Animal Shelter , over 250 dogs and everything is old , outdated and until recent no dog ever lived over 8 -10 days there!
New managers are amazing ! Captain King and Sargent Ziegler are making things happen in a good way!
Yesterday they asked us to network dogs because their time was up. The killing has slowed down because giving us a few extra days helps Rescues , networkers and adopters to get the animals out .

Imagine how excited I was, the manager let me closer to dogs in isolation to get better photo, give a wet cold puppy a towel, grooming pups , they really are letting us help .
No road blocks, new management want dogs and cats rescued, imagine that !
Working with public and owners to keep and get their pets back, something no manager has ever done here.

Kennels are cleaner, staff helping public , staff walk with a pep , like they don’t hate their job anymore.
The new attitude is , how can WE help the animals together now .
How many other shelters have this same problem ?

This new management has made such a huge impact on this shelter in a positive way , I’d like to say thank you on behalf of all the animals that lived , because you cared enough to try !
