Contact Information: Denise at 518-429-9171

Please help Emma find a new forever home ASAP!!! She is in a wonderful home now, but cannot stay there, has to be kept in a crate most of the time and would not stand a chance in a shelter! The great family that just adopted Emma and her bonded brother at the time Henry are heartbroken!!! They have tried everything to integrate Emma into their home, including hiring a private trainer, to no avail. Right before Emma and Henry were transported to their new home in New York from Florida, Emma was attacked twice by a dog in that home and now is unable to handle a home with other pets, including even Henry.

She is very loving to everyone no matter how stressed she becomes. Her current owners are truly heartbroken, but there is nothing else they can do. They were even willing to keep she and Henry separate from their other 4 dogs for the rest of their lives until Emma became aggressive with Henry too.

Emma needs a calm, stable home, to be the only pet, to be with her humans, some toys to play with and a treat every once in a while. She loves to go for a walk with you. Although Emma is blind, she, just like every blind dog, learns the “lay of the land” very easily and after just a few days you forget they have any vision issues at all. …read more
