How is Pretty Boy NOT adopted??

A volunteer shares: Pretty Boy ID#A168847 is timid and submissive. He will most likely gain confidence is an atmosphere that is less noisy and more secure. He truly wants to trust his handler and will probably be a wonderful and committed companion for someone with just a little patience. Pretty Boy kennels with another dog who he is quickly yields to.

COOPER UPDATED – For Father’s, we thought we would share some happy news! This is seriously TOO CUTE not to share.

KEEP FIGHTIN’ COOP! WE ♥ YOU!

Cooper’s Update on Sunday 6/21

Cooper continues to rest. He still has no appetite so hand feeding is the only way right now to encourage him to eat. When he first gets up from a lying down position he is starting to use his sore back leg for a few steps, so that is a bit of progress. Our conversation this morning:

Cooper: “Mom, when am I gonna feel better?”
FM: “I hope soon Cooper”
Cooper: “I don’t like being sick, it’s no fun”
FM: “I know honey, no one likes to be sick. But all the medicine I give you will help you to feel better”
Cooper: “What is ‘medicine’?”
FM: “The little things I keep giving you in a tasty treat to make the sickness go away”
Cooper: “Ok Mom, thank you”
FM: “There are a lot of people who love you and want you to feel better too, Cooper. They look at pictures of you and read about you everyday”
Cooper: “There are?”
FM: “Yes Cooper, they send you lots of love and get well wishes”
Cooper: “Ok, can you tell them thank you for me?”
FM: “Yes Cooper, I will tell them.”
Cooper: “I’m gonna go back to sleep now Mom”
FM: “Ok Cooper, you rest that helps you to feel better”
Cooper: “Ok Mom, I love you”
FM: “I love you too Cooper”

For all of Cooper’s wonderful Facebook friends, he says thank you for your love and prayers and get well wishes.

Cooper: “Did you tell them?”
FM: “Yes Cooper, I told them”
Cooper: “Ok, thank you Mom”
FM: “You’re welcome honey, now get some rest”

By Pinal County Animal Shelter Animals NEED You ❌Folks, There are so many dogs at Pinal looking for forever homes – over 160, some since 2014. There are 3 albums that contain Pinal dogs. Pinal is overcrowded and in desperate need of help.❌

⚠Please, consider “Cyber Adopting” one of these dogs. MAKE IT YOUR MISSION TO GET THAT ONE DOG OUT!⚠
➡ Share that one dog to your friends, coworkers and family via facebook, email, and word of mouth.
➡ If you live in AZ, make a flyer to post on local community boards.
➡ Post the dog on Craigslist in Phoenix or Tucson with a link to their FB page and the shelter’s information. (Yes, Craiglist has it’s dangers, but these dogs aren’t free and they need any help they can get. Plus, in general, it is a drive that takes some time to go check these pups out)
➡ Pledge on the dog’s thread. Help track the pledges other’s make.
➡ Share the dog on Arizona networking pages. (Some will be posted in comments)
➡ Rescues need fosters, so sharing to rescues only helps if they have openings. If you are in AZ, please consider opening your heart and home. Get signed up to foster so when that one dog tugs at your heartstrings, you are ready to step-up.
➡ DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO GET THAT ONE DOG OUT and when he or she is out, “Cyber Adopt” your next pup.
➡ SHARE THIS POST – and encourage people to “Cyber Adopt” one of the Pinal dogs. …read more

An update on sweet Cooper, the Valley Fever dog.

Mobile Uploads
I got to spend some time with this handsome hunk this morning. I was so happy to see him and give him kisses. He was pretty happy to see me, too. He wouldn’t eat much of anything while I was there, but soon after I left, I got a call from his foster mom, and she told me that he particularly liked one of the wet foods I took out to him and that he ate most of it. So YAY Cooper!!! While I was there, he let me clip his nails. He wasn’t fond of the grinder, but didn’t mind the clippers at all. His foster mom now has all of his medications and supplements, so I’m hopeful he will be feeling better in a week or two. Until then, I wish you a speedy recovery my little prince, and I’ll be back to see you again real soon. ♡♡♡ ~Mary Ann …read more
