Do you remember me telling you about the old senior dog that was tied to a pole in front of the shelter Monday morning when the shelter was closed? Well, this is the girl. We’ve named her Delores and she is about 10-11 years old. She doesn’t really have much time left, but the time she has we’d like to do her the honor of spending it in a home, even if it is for a few months. If anyone out there can just give her a nice soft bed and love her, we’ll sponsor her adoption fee fully. No dog should be abandoned just because they are old. They give us the best years of their life and we should return the favor when they need us the most.

A4806249 HUMPHREY is a bouncy three-year-old blue-and-white male Pit Bull mix found in Carson and brought to the Carson Animal Care Center on March 7th. Humphrey scored a B on his temperament test! Weighing 54 pounds, Humphrey is a higher energy boy who will benefit from additional leash and obedience training. He seems good around other dogs. He’s a fun, sweet boy who likes to snuggle with you once he’s burned off some of his excess energy running around and playing with toys. He’s perfect for an active individual or family with older kids. Humphrey is a great pet for anyone living in a private home with a yard.
